Swaybars, more accurately called anti-roll bars, are the prime tool used to adjust the understeer/oversteer balance of the car. Naturally, driver skills and preferences do vary and having sufficient adjustability at each end of the car is critical toward setting the car up for each person.

Rennsport Systems offers several adjustable anti-roll bars kits depending upon  each application. We use and recommend swaybar kits from Smart Racing as well as Tarett Engineering’s RSR bars.

Smart Racing bars are available in 20mm, 23mm, 27mm and 31mm sizes for front & rear applications for all 911 and 930 Porsches. These are tubular bars with billet, anodized mounts and adjusting arms with all aircraft-grade hardware and the best spherical bearings available. There is nothing better!! There are several adjustable swaybar kits on the market, however you get what you pay for.

Installing and using swaybars in matched sizes is imperative to achieve a neutral handling car. We also recommend Wevo improved and reinforced rear swaybar mount for any 911/930 that is equipped with sticky street rubber or racing tires to prevent them from being torn off the body. The stock rear swaybar mounts on these cars can tear loose from the body when using a larger rear bar and sticky tires on a race track.
